AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri is delighted with the signing of former Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo.

AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri is delighted with the signing of former Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo.

Milan have brought in Montolivo on a Bosman from Fiorentina this summer and Allegri insists he can offer versatility.

“He’s certainly not a trequartista,” he said. “But he can play in any of the three midfield positions that we use.”
